Community Pilot Project
We have recently piloted an innovative reverse integration program, with one of Canberra’s leading schools, teaching from early childhood to college levels.
This innovative program is about breaking down barriers (the divide) within our community and engaging people across the community through participation. This program will enable students to interact with people of varying abilities.
People of varying abilities will co-host an arts and craft educational program utilizing traditional arts -- marbling, papermaking and bookbinding techniques. The latter is however the main technique in this pilot program. Each student will complete a marbled picture frame project that will have extended their abilities and result in a lasting memento for students and families of the program and the skills they learnt from members of our community.
This project could also be run at your school or community group, please feel free to contact us.
